Montenegrin fusion band Kuhinjazz was formed in 2020. The bend members are young professional musicians: pianist Enes Tahirović, bassist Slaven Ljujić, drummer Martin Đorđević, saxophonist Stefan Pavićević, and trombonist Dejan Ljujić; violinist Luna Kostadinović joined the band in 2021.
After completing their jazz studies abroad (Siena, Italy; Graz, Austria; Boston, USA), Martin, Enes and Slaven returned to Podgorica with the aim of contributing to the jazz development in their own country and in various instances composing, arranging, performing and tutoring music.
Kuhinjazz regularly performs in Montenegro (Jazz Appreciation Month in Montenegro-JAM, Jazz Bay Herceg Novi, DEUS, Podgorica Summer Festival etc.). Their first appearance aboard was in Tirana, at the Jazz in Albania festival in September 2021. Recently they recorded music for their first album, and currently they are looking for an international publisher.
You can listen to the part of their performance at the Jazz Appreciation Month in Montenegro festival 2022.
